Where can I buy a snorricam or a spin cam?

Didn't ask Richard, do you know him or where I can get ahold of him?

Can I buy a snorricam from geofilmgroup? theres looks cool but it looks like its just for rent. I'm going to contact them later today.

ouch, geo is 400 a day to rent the body cam, for 400 I could hire someone off craiglist to build me one that does what there's does and more!

I don't want to make one! I want to buy one! Thanks though, that looks cool, I would buy one if you had it for sell!

Well I suppose if you wanted one and could wait a couple weeks I could make you one. I think the parts and everything cost something like $200-$300 but with the time and everything it would have to be like $600-$800.

Like I said I am making a nicer version so if you are interested it wouldn't be to hard for me to make 2.

Sell me your V1. That thing is awesome. It looks way better than all the other plywood 'DIY's I've seen online while researching.

The best system is the Body Mount by Doggicam Systems. This system is strong, light weight and can handle any kind of camera, from DSLR's to RED to Arri film cameras. It's been used in numerous big budget movies like Terminator Salvation, The Hangover, and on TV shows like Dexter, Lie To Me, Entourage, Californication, etc.....Check out there site at www.doggicam.com

doesn't work perfect but I have used a smaller tripod and stuck two of the legs in my belt and then taken two other belts strapped to two of the legs and then attached around my body, worked fairly well especially if I held it with my hands not ideal but works for certain short takes.

I can't believe someone has made a site where you can only view it in Flash, yuk...

I was asked to come up with a way to have the camera rush at an actor seen head to toe, and then have the camera "attach" to him like a Snorricam. Talked to the Doggicam guys who had a nifty idea involving an electromagnetic mount that would be activated mid-shot as the camera was placed on its surface, but the cost was prohibitive. See if you can guess what we ended up doing. Note that this was shot as a continuous event rather than in cuts, as seen here. Relevant section of clip is at 1:30.
