I'm visiting NYC, (I used to live there before learning screenwriting). What are some places a writer could visit? I did the literary tour of the Village which I'd recomend to anyone who likes nooks and crannies of a large city rather than tourist places.
I never made it to Elaine's, and old school writers hangout. Any places like that I should check out? There's the Algonquin Hotel. Chelsea Hotel. I was going to stay at the Chelsea but it got such lousy reviews that I had to pass.
Any other ideas?
