I do too. It's the exact kind of movie that I'd want to make :D

Coltrain:
Which one is Werkmeister harmonies? I never heard of it.

Mouchette is incredible. I couldn´t move from my seat at the end of the movie. The best suicide moment of cinema. (And i love when people kill himself)
Don´t you like Pickpocket?
I didn´t like the Diary of a Country priest. Althougt its a good resume of the way Bresson thinks movies.
A man scaped is one of my favorites too.

Everytime i am going to shoot a short i first read bresson´s Notes on the cinematographer

how is that book?

Re: Where are the classics?

It is a series of aphorism of bresson ideas about the cinematographer. He talk, and think about the cinematographer instead of cinema, cause he thought that cinema had being contamined by theatre. And he want to start up something without any reference with theater.
That´s just a part of his filosophy. The central part.

Has a lot of great advices. I really recommend that book. His lecture is very inspiring.
