When We Left Earth

[Batutta]

Anyone catch the first episode? It was awesome seeing all that old NASA footage in HD, a lot of it for the first time anywhere. Some of the failed rocket tests were pretty spectacular. If you've seen The Right Stuff you'll know a lot of what happened in the first episode. It's amazing how many of the cast in The Right Stuff not only look like their real life counterparts, but also went on to have great careers (Ed Harris, Dennis Quaid, Scott Glenn, Fred Ward). Tom Hanks however looks NOTHING like the real Jim Lovell.

Kevin Costner does.

I was able to catch it last night and I loved it. The hour went by too fast.

Saw part of it last night and dvr'd it to watch later. Just the first 15 minutes kicked ass, can't wait to see the rest!
