When to get a release form signed?

Hi,

I am going to be getting footage of a raquetclub to make a small tour of it that will be posted on the internet. Now, I'm expecting to capture members that are working out, close ups and wide shots. Do I need those release forms? What do they say? Anything really....help.

I'm in sacramento CA if that makes a difference.

i would get a release just incase. I try to fall on the side of covering yourself. Most people will sign it without question. Try going to Sonnyboo.com and looking at the downloads. There is a talent release form in there., That is sufficient. most people think of this as a quirky little problme but i shot a bit for a local tv show at my daughters school. The principal made surew that I got permission because they had two children that went there that were in danger of being kidnapped by the noncustodial parent. To have accidently show the kids on the air may have tipped this parent off. So its really just a mnatter of coutesy to those you film
