When Paul Blart: Mall Cop makes 33 million opening weekend...

I thought it looked amusing. No, I haven't seen it but the trailer received plenty of laughs last time I was in the theatre.

Sometimes you just want to shut down your brain and have a laugh. Obviously there's a market for it.

It's no Dr. Strangleove but you know that going in. :)
I may rent it. Maybe...

But 33 Million!? I think the market is for people who never turn their brain ON.
 
it looks like a pretty low brow comedy, but not as bad as some of the other movies i've seen previews for over the last few years. the fact that there aren't many other family comedies out right now helps it.
