but you should know, I am collecting this all for MY own screenplay..
just kiddin' well, maybe not?
it's mine, man!!!
mine!!
i do agree though..there is occassionally something going on here on this site that is pretty interesting. When I try out for "The Apprentice" and get on the show...i will be sure and log on to "dvxuser.com" while they are shooting..(ha!)
seriously now,
I have to "disengage" here..to go to finishing a little chunk o' edit and then grab some free food at a friends' house.
Wow, Jerry goes away for 2 days and comes back to find an amusing thread. I make a run to Hardees for a cheeseburger and come back to find I've been copyrighted. Does this seem odd to anyone else? ;D
Also, speaking of odd, I just made said run to Hardees in my pajamas, bathrobe and big blue fluffy slippers. I look like hell, but I am on vacation. It is going to freeze here tonight and I was wondering if cd's actually freeze in cars overnight. The cold may have gotten to me outside a bit...but none of that is the odd part I was getting around to. The particular cd I was listening to while driving in the freezing night in my pajamas and very undone hair was the soundtrack to Hedwig and the Angry Inch. That is a very odd movie, but I LOVE LOVE the soundtrack.
What do you all have in your cd players right now?
Good thing you don't live in Toronto - I think you would have on much more than a PJ's and a bathrobe. It was -23 degrees this morning where I live. What is that in Fahrenheit?
Don't know about CDs, but the elastic bands you tuck your sunglasses under sure don't work when it gets that cold.
Hmmm. makes me want to move to Florida.
(The PJ's and bathrobes, of course. Never mind the weather. Any other women running in streets like that where you are? What's the zipcode? )
haha!! So far as I know, its just me. Not worth a move to Florida, for sure. I really ought not do it, but I sometimes go to Starbux like that...and I am always afraid that when I do, my car will break down, or I will get in an accident...and there I'll be. Bathrobe and fluffy slippers.

Your lifestyle seems to be an endless inspiration for all sort of movies... where is Dakotapod? Quick, start FinalDraft, another saga is coming!
Sooo... we were at the point your were in your bathrobe and fluffy slipper on your way back from Starbucks, and your car broke down. I bet it was a dark and rainy night... and...???

Where's that? Vancouver?
My sister-in-law lives in Victoria, and she is visiting for the holidays. Just yesterday, she was marvelling about how nice the weather is in Victoria, with flowers blooming and stuff... I told her she may never experience her fear of flying again if she keeps rubbing it in... I would just lock her outside for a couple of hours and claim it was an accident. Not my fault she froze to death just couple of steps from my home!
(Maybe she should have put a bathrobe on)
Seriously, though - I don't mind the cold when there is some snow attached to it. Which there isn't. I'll have to look up real estate prices on Vancouver Island
Heh! I feel sort of like the girl in American Pie (?) "This one time, in band camp..." The one time I was sure the bathrobe a fluffy slippers were going to make the news, I had run out of coffee....(picture blurs, dialogue fades as scene comes up) I drove just down the road to Hardees to get a large cup of coffee and was pulling out onto the road for the trip back home, when I noticed a cop car with its lights on. A big SUV had jumped the curb. "What's going on?" I wondered. Just as I got up next to them, the cop who had been approaching the SUV jumps back, pulling out his sidearm and leveling it at the driver. The only thing I could think of was "Crap! I'm gonna get shot in the street and I am dressed like this!!!!"
