Not when I know he likes me and has said he doesnt care if I am using him. Makes me feel bad and I would know the difference. My life is crap at the moment. I am coming out of a heart pulverization myself.
This is the sort of thing that happens to me:
I am awakened at 2:30a to the horrific sound of crashing metal and shattering glass. In my neighborhood, it can only mean someone has wrapped their car around a phone pole or something. I grab my cordless phone to call rescue, nearly broke my neck jumping out of bed, running downstairs and out the front door to help.....only to find that someone had come careening around the bend in my road, hit my garbage cans and rear ended my car, placing it sideways in my own driveway. Oh yeah, and he kept on going.
Moral to the true story: I dont have to call trouble for it to find me. I am a magnet for it. If I called this guy, it would just be bad for me, somehow, someway. I am stubborn. I will fix it myself.

That one guy's tripod could just "vanish" one day... we won't tell anyone. [/quote]
I actually held it in my hands and laughed because I remembered your words. ;D But I played nice and set it back down.
I was just in a situation recently, whereby I could have gotten a very small bit of satisfaction. I had a small project with the guy who is responsible for the aforementioned pulverization of my heart. He had just gotten a new tripod, left me alone with it in the room, and a little devil who looked suspiciously like TC was telling me to do terrible things to it in order to exact some measure of revenge. ;D
Keep it up ladies! Screenplay is now on page 20... I have you two sitting in a cafe after Christmas shopping just chatting. Gold I tell ya, pure gold. ;D
I'm thinking "My Dinner with Andre" but the female version.
Any casting ideas? Thinking maybe Katie Holmes & Traylor Howard :-/

and sorry to hear of the mishap.
..which brings me to an off question of ..
do you answer your doorbell?
just curious. a crying woman came to my door tonight and I debated on whether or not to open it. she asked to use the phone to call someone because she was stranded.
I felt like hell, because I didn't want to open the door, even to hand her the phone. She could walk 2 minutes and find a payphone...

I dont know if I should keep replying with stories of things that happen to me, or I will get the rep of "Oh God, she always has something to say about everything". BUT, I dont answer my door after a certain hour. Not where I live. Jsut not prudent. But there was this one time when a man started banging on my door. I lived alone with my daughter who was only 2 yrs at the time. He wouldnt go away and sounded like he was going to knock my door down. I grabbed up my daughter and went to the window by the front door and looked out. He was looking like he was on drugs, about to pass out, kept motioning for me to open the door, banging on it. Like the woosie I am, I started crying because I didnt have a backdoor to run out of. I screamed at him "What do you want?!" and he just grabbed at his throat. I worked for an ear nose and throat dr at the time at a children's clinic and I could see the man had a trach tube that had come dislodged. He was suffocating to death on my doorstep. So I called rescue, let him inside, and the medics came and took him away.
But no, I dont answer my door as a rule after sundown. ;D
