When FCP Tanks

Has anybody had problems opening FCP, meaning it loads up but right before it opens it tanks. I foolishly messed around with my scratch disk location once I realized that everything was on my boot drive instead of my external. I think I might have accidently replaced or deleted something, I don't know. Any help is appreciated cause, this is torture!

You may have to do a complete uninstall before you can reinstall properly, as a reinstall will not rewrite certain files that it finds already on your disk. To do the complete uninstall, you likely will need one of the uninstall applications discussed on this board, the names of which escape me at the moment. I had to use one to uninstall for a reinstall of FCS, and the process solved the problem I was having.
