Wheeled Cases-bad for camera?

I've been considering a wheeled Pelican 1550 and wonder though if it is not good for the camera to be wheeling it around. The vibration and bumps? If you do have one, is it better then to carve your foam with the camera near the top? or in some fashion as to cushion the camera from those bumps?

are the wheels worth it? the cases is 10 lbs heavier with the wheels..

I've wheeled my DVX-100 in a Kata Panda bag for nearly two years - five overseas trips, five cross USA air trips running through terminals, back and forth to the car across the street a hundred times or more.  The Kata bag has some give to it - cloth and velcro.  I take good care of my equipment and no problems.  I don't know about a hardshell case and how different it would be.

I do pack my DVX in the top compartment of the bag.

The foam should absorb a lot of the vibration. Still, the DVX ain't THAT heavy. I'd understand a wheeled case for a DSR-500 much better. To me, nothing beats the readiness and quickness of a regular soft shoulder bag.

I think I'm just paranoid for probably no reason.
