Whats your Favorite Movie?

I thought it would be interesting to see what all you guys out there choose as your favorite movie(s) and why. Just a way for me (and others) to see what you would recommend. ..Sort-of like a Operah Book of the Month Club ;D, anyways, I'll Start off.

1) City of God: It's visually amazing. The story is original and enthralling. I have no problem reading subtitles, so this is by far one of my fav movies.

2) Fight Club: Palahniuk is the man...

3) Clerks: Kevin Smith is my Idol. (Buy Clerks X, the documentary they did for this movie is well worth the purchase alone.)

4) Memento: Gotta love those original moves. I loved the twisted timeline as well. Don’t go to the bathroom while watching this one, buy the time you come back, you wont understand Sh_t.

Glitter[/quote]

;D ;D ;D

Re: Whats your Favorite Movie?

Yea, I saw glitter. When there's NOTHING else left on the tv, I start doing wierd things...

I gotta ask:

Has ANYONE seen GIGLI?

Re: Whats your Favorite Movie?

Glitter is the best movie in the world if you watch it with a crowd of witty people. Otherwise, the worst.

But my favorite movie is Meet Joe Black. How can you resist Anthony Hopkins, Claire Forlani, and Brad Pitt all in the same movie?

Re: Whats your Favorite Movie?

There are so many 'favorites.'

How about:

Casablanca
Fifth Element
Dr. Strangelove
Star Wars
12 Angry Men (w/ Peter Fonda)

I walked in and out of a room that people were watching it in. The only thing harder than keeping up with the wandering plot is pronouncing the name.

Re: Whats your Favorite Movie?

Good call on Fifth Element speedbump - worn out 3 DVDs on that one 8) (crappy special features though :'( )

Re: Whats your Favorite Movie?

Two nods for Narc, wow. My best friend boomed it> I will have to let him know.
BARAKA was the first DVD I just had to buy.
Just too many others to list

Yes, Narc is great.

Does your friend have any connections with the crew for that film?
