BlueSpider...man...were you the one who sat there and drew giant testicles on a squirrel...i mean, don't you have traffic in your house or apartment? I'd be paranoid of drawing that, and someone coming in...I'm hunched over my laptop, chances are one of my room mates left a door open so I'm sweaty...and when they pop in I look like I've been caught...and I'm laughing nervously as I continue to draw pubes on a squirrels nuts...

I cant work like this!!!! This is the first day I've had to slack off and do nothing in toooo long, and this cramped corner I live in is screaming to be cleaned.

thartley, Scientists could spend years analyzing that photo.
First of all, you have 2 computers (but only 1 monitor) and an extra set of speakers, not being used. Hmmm That obviously means you are a sentimental person, who can't throw anything away. Second of all, I believe that's a Starbucks coffee cup on your desk. Hmmm That is a clear sign you're a VERY rich individual ...or possibly high-maintenance. 
Lastly, there is a Comcast High-Speed Internet box and a yellow toolbox under your desk. Which can only mean one thing. ...You are the perfect woman.
Don't even get me started on the top shelf. Wow, that's a psychological treasure trove up there!

Feng Shui Nightmare. I know, because I get a lot of mental clutter from my desks. I couldn't take it a few days ago and tried a reorg. It is good until the next major mess.

You can tell a lot about a woman by the contents of her purse... perhaps this is true of workspaces as well.
Yesterday I noticed the array of cords under my desk was getting a bit wild, so I disconnected everything and took everything out, then put it all out. I ended up with a spare fire wire, and 2 unused S-video cables.
It's like when you buy stuff from Ikea and have extra pieces... a bit unnevering.
You can tell a lot about a woman by the contents of her purse... perhaps this is true of workspaces as well.

Yes, on the two computers. I use a KVM switch to go between one and the other. The crazy part is that I use dial-up on the other while I am on highspeed over here. (its a long tale). I have the surround sound speakers hooked up to one and el cheapos on the other. And I can throw stuff away! Its just that it only goes a few feet in any direction before it hits a wall. Guilty on the Starbux cup. Not rich, but definitely not high maintenace. I get one per week, on Saturday mornings (grande peppermint mocha)... I used to meet my brother every weekend for about two hours up there and we'd hang out and talk about photography, but he moved to the other side of town and I dont see him much. Cant seem to kick the coffee habit, though. Toolbox is worthless because it only has two screwdrivers and a ginsu knife in it. Mostly its a foot stool since I'm only 5'2. ;D
