Thanks.. I got the apple keyboard mainly because I can get AVID keys put on there. But now I use Vegas premarily..(go figures). The keyboard is plug n' play and works great. The PrintScrn key does not work though.

I LIVE by the tablet. This is the original old skool ArtZII that I purchased almost 7 years ago! It still works like it's brand new but I lust for the newer Wacoms with higher res.

Booggerg: Nice setup. I lust after the tablet, since I'm starting to get into Flash and animation. And hey, you've got a jog dial. Brand? How do you like it? USB?

What is it about windows that people just cram everything onto the desktop.
I know I'm generalizing here, but most of the mac users I've met, and myself, keep the desktop pretty clean and use the users folder for storing things. ;D
Anyways, I WANT your speakers.

And speedbump, that's a contour design "shuttle pro". I have one and love it, and yeah, it's usb. They've got a version 2 out now (look at John's setup on page 2 of this thread) I would say most people consider that the standard jog/shuttle these days. They're very popular, look cool, and functionality is great. And oh yeah, they're not too expensive either.

ditto on the shuttle... i couldn't work without it... it even makes web surfing and scrolling down pages fun! 8)

Your monitors are too small, your memory isn't what it use to be, and YOU CALL THAT MULTITASKING??!! I think we both know this isn't working. Unless you get your monitors enlarged and bring a hot young computer home to spice'n things up a bit (wink, wink), I'm afraid our compositing days are over."

I need to set up an external monitor. I have a 27inch external monitor. lol. And it own't let me set it up, evne though i can use it as a monitor. it's like nope. you need a media converter. and i'm like nope. not me. either way. haha. Good show, gents.

You bastards are making me jealous. I've got a dual-monitor setup, but the workspace is definately not optimal. My camera man just rearranged his workspace, and it rocks. Harrumpf!

geez, I don't even have a dual montior. My dam ext monitor have one of those purple magnet bruises on the left side. Should of never put those dam speakers to close. Beeatches!

Oh man, just wait and see what I'm cookin up. My new set-up should be done in about 2 weeks, and boy-oh-boy is it going to be SWEET. I don't care if this thread dies by then, I'm going to show it off!

Hehe.

Even more reason for me NOT to post my set-up. Not to mention that I'd have to deflate the blow-up doll, toss all the drugs and booze off the desk, hide the uzi's and kill about 100 dust bunnies. Or maybe I could just "blur" those things out and leave my Dos based system in the pic? ;D

I just found my self showing off Jarred Land's setup to my girl friend. haha..  this site has me totally consumed, my girlfriend asked if we could go to PF Chang's tonight and eat, my answer: hey check out this guy's computer setup. haha.

Yeah Yeah I know my setup kicks major ass but the problem is, now that I have this thing in my basement I dont have room room for my ping-pong table.

I guess you just can't have everything in life.
