I designed and built my desk myself. I got the drawers and formica for the top from local companies. The top is made of plywood, cut to shape and jointed to the left of the computer shelf because 4 feet is the widest you can get. I added trim and stained all the wood to look nice. It's supported by the drawers and it's anchored to the wall, with a support under the joint in the plywood. Try to get one made from solid wood or plywood, particle board just isn't sturdy.

I told Linda I'd have it cleaned up by Baby day... YIKES!!!  You know, it's the TwoBoy's fault... They want to play on my computer all the time!!  

Wait!  I'm typing this here on this desk... and I'm looking around.  I have this little corner to myself and my WIFE HAS THE ENTIRE REST OF THE ROOM FOR HER!!!!  HOW RIGHT IS THAT!!!!  Anyone want to buy some scrapbooks?
