whats wrong with my computer?

Hi there,
Ive been making a fairly large video ( 8 gigs) and finally just finished it and rendered it as an avi file. But now when i play the video theres black flashes in clips that shouldnt be there and when i look at my version in vegas to try to find these glitches the program stalls when i try to play it or look at it.

Anyone have any idea whats wrong with my computer? I usually store everything on my external so my internal should run pretty smoothly. Is my hard drive messes?

Black flashes as in your video goes to black in the middle of the movie means that you have gaps in your timeline. Try to magnify the timeline to see the gaps and to fill in the gaps manually..if that is what you are experiencing.
