hi...

Been searching up and down ... the forum lately . can't manage to find answers.

I've done a shooting for a party in a large hall. The setup is like this :

- 1 DVX with live feed with 1 channel audio from mixer. 2nd channel uses onboard mic.

- 2nd DVX moving around with onboard mic.

My problem is how to achieve a consistent audio throughout the whole video ? The audio feed from mixer is very clean but lack of audience noise, while the 2nd channel has some kind of distortion, so practically i don't use it at all. The audio from the 2nd camera is good but it's not recording all the time.

So where to I start to tackle this problem ? create some room reverb with the audio feed ? is there an easy way to match the audio feed with the 2nd camera ?

Please help ...:undecided

A party - what exactly? Is there a speaker? can you be more specific? I will tell you that the DVX on board mic is not good for this.
With the on board mic - besides being usable for sink - you will record a lot of crowd noise - which will likely make those channels unusable standing alone.
