the other name for it is a linear bearing, get a grip who fabricates his own gear to make you one, i did for $700, it rocks for a lighter camera, you can mount it on a tripod, apple boxes or even sandbags

if you notice on the closer side of the top image is the top half a mitchell mount. These are intended to be used on tripods with high weight capacities (for larger cameras). They're great. Especially if you need movement in a tight place or just the abilty to move the camera position a couple of feet!
