What's the correct setup for capture/timeline for DVX 25p?

Asking again as it seems noone has yet been able to tell me, but I know someone's got the answer as I'm not the only 25p shooter using FCP.

I'm just after answers as to what settings I should use for capture and for timeline for 25p footage? Do I just use the normal 50i stuff and it's all good?

I'm a little unsure as the viewer and canvas do their own deinterlacing for display purposes so it's hard to tell if it's processing the 25p properly or not.

My thinking is that if I set the project up for 50i, odd field first that, due to the fact that 25p is embedded as 50i I'll be just fine and dandy; FCP will just treat it as 50i footage and so long as I output at 50i, odd field, it won't do any deinterlacing or somesuch bollocks. Is this correct?

I think we're out of luck. I've posted on here twice, DVInfo and apple's forums and noone can tell me. The first video question in years I haven't had an answer to from this of dvinfo- :)
