If I may be shamless self promoter for a moment...did you check out their short promo video online for the new album?

I shot and cut that with a friend of mine.
It was a lot of fun.... we shot all day in the studio with them recording "mathematical mind."

Anyhow, if you haven't seen it, check it out, let me know what you think
(sorry I know this isn't the place for this...but I couldn't help it once I saw Spoon mentioned).
:)

ps.
in order to keep this thread on topic...
beta band and nick drake are both in heavy rotation at my house right now

Spoon and The Clientelle are coming to Austin!!

Spoon and The Clientelle are coming to Austin!!

Luis and I have very similiar tastes in music.. Speaking of, my fixation (The Clientelle) is touring the states this year with Spoon. Pretty cool, huh?

Today?

In the changer: Michael Nesmith (And The Hits Just Keep On Comin', Pretty Much Your Standard Ranch Stash, The Garden, and The Prison)

But don't worry...last week it was Tenacious D, The Roches, Robert Wyatt, and Talking Heads.
