What's the best way to find distributor info?

is there any website or somewhere you can find a listing of multiple distributors at once rather than trying to just think of them off the top of your head?

i'm wrapping up a feature film (intended for direct to dvd) and looking to hop on the phone and start trying to see if i can get some interest from the trailer and then possibly send a screener to them, etc.

When you go to principle on a feature you should send the pertinent information to Variety and The Hollywood Reporter. They run listings of features which are shooting and their schedules. Acquisition executives from major distributors scan them looking for features to check up on.

yea i had done that once we started filming and was contacted by a coupla random people, but we ended up going a little over schedule with post production so that was a while ago.

we're entering festivals at this point but i'm looking to contact as many distributors as possible to get the ball rolling.

did u have to pay her or something? i thought i remember seeing or hearing that site was a pay site or something?

checking it out later tonight when i get a free second.
