What's the best FCP to AfterEffects(or vice versa) workflow?

Hi,

Coming from a Premiere Pro user, I do enjoy the 'Adobe Dynamic Link' between Premiere Pro and After Effects. Not having to render my files and be able to switch apps is a time saver and quality of footage is maintained.

Now for FCP, how would you use After Effects? Whats the best workflow?

Let's say for colour correction and VFX inside After Effects. Can you please help me out?

I edit in FCP then send to AE for colour correction/VFX or maybe the other way around? How?

There's no 'send to AE' unfortunately. At least not simply. If you want to maintain that simple dynamic link workflow with After Effects, you would be better off staying with Premiere to be honest. Otherwise it's a lot of manual work.
