Hey everyone i need some help,
I am really really new at burning dvd's
I need a crash course on Burning DVD's of my videos. I shoot with a Panasonic AG-HMC150P at PH 1080/60I and i use EDIUS 6.08 for all my editing. the reason i need help is because for reasons i am not sure of and Grass Valley cant seem to figure out is that the BURN TO DISK feature in EDIUS freezes as soon as the window pops up. yes MICROSOFT SECURITY ESSENTIALS is uninstalled and i use AVG as my virus protection. Plus this even happens when i try and burn a 10 sec color bar clip at any project preset that is in EDIUS. I don't mean that the BURN TO DISK option is grayed out. I can click on it and when the window pops up it freezes. But i think if i click on DISK BURNER from the TOOLS drop down menu it may work but it asks to find a VIDEO_TS file. Anyways, whats the best program i can buy to make menus and burn a DVD at the highest quality possible (awesome sharp looking 720x480 dvds). Do i export MPEG-2 Program or Canopus HQ avi from EDIUS? how do i make a VIDEO_TS file of my edited work so that i can test the DISK BURNER and see if i can make a dvd that way? i am running an HP ENVY 17 intel core i7 2Ghz cpu at 8gb ram and its a 64-bit OS.
