My brethren- I just watched the trailer to Talladega nights with Will Farrell and I laughed my a-hiss off. That has got to be the funniest trailer I've ever seen. "Dear lord, master Jesus, up in heaven, I'd like to take the time to thank you for my sons, Walker and Texas Ranger." Anyway, if you've got time, check it out.

It does look hilarious. Will Ferrell has been in a short slump since Anchorman. Hope this cures the dry spell. We need more funny. We need more cowbell!!! :)

anybody notice the similarities this movie has to Anchorman?

Talledega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby
Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy

his initials are R.B.
I think it's gonna be a hit.

This is a genre that I really can't seem to get into. Anchorman, Wedding Crashers, I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't find it funny.

Sure, there's some chuckles, but nothing substantial.

I guess it's just me.

I thought Anchorman was completely stupid after I first saw it...but then I saw it again and I found the humor!
I think it's one of those movies you just have to quote back and forth between friends in order to think it's funny. And some people don't do that, so I guess it's not funny then.

Me and my friends used to go on for hours with Kevin Smith and Austin Powers quotes.

Smoke and a pancake?
Pipe and a crepe?
Bong and a Blince?
Flapjack and a cigarette?

Good times.

Yeah, Austin Powers had some great ones. I personally liked doing Fat Bastard the most.

But I think Anchorman appealed to me when my brother and I learned how to sing the "afternoon delight" song, then proceeded to dress up as Anchormen for Halloween while singing that song every now and then. We were the hit of the party!

I think a lot of it is about the acting, Will Ferrell and Vince Vaughn have acting skills, Vince has major skills, I do wish they would something meaningful however with their comedy.

They make millions worldwide laugh, they flood school conversations with movie quotes...At least they're making an impact... On the same topic, Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail - Worst and Best show i've ever seen. From a film point of view it was pitiful, but it was hilarious! Very quotable too... 'T'is just a fleshwound...'

And of course (Mike Meyers) there was Waynes World...

Wayne : All I have to say about that is "asphinctersayswhat".
Noah Vanderhoff: What?
Wayne : Exactly.
