What would you do with a 37k check?

Sooooooooooo, what would you do with $37,000?

I'm happy with the DVX and don't think I want to can it for the HXV. I was thinking about tricking out the DVX and grabbing a ton of things like a crane and good set of sticks and stuff.
 
I hear ya man. I already own two houses and I'll get a car as mine was totaled but it's going to be a beater car so that I can invest in my film making.
 
37K? Holy ****, umm i would ball out on HVX and all new HD toys since its such an upcoming technology and a lot of people are looking to start there marketing towards the HD revolution .... 6 grand on hvx - 10k on all sweet topline toys for it, than save the rest and buy yourself some nice beer
 
I'd go to France, drink wine & paint nudes until I run out of money. Come home, kiss my girlfriend & keep shooting my DVX !!!

I've been in the buz for 19 years & I don't think with my camera anymore. I think with my ... errr' ... paintbrush!!

37K ... Hmmm..... PAINT, PAINT, PAINT .....

Get something that isn't 1/3 inch chip - it all looks like dogpoop (yes, even the HVX) - get a 2/3 - check ou the sdx

snap...lol, well, like i said in your other thread about near death, i'm glad you're still alive and kickin'. or else you wouldn't have used such a great response.

whatever you do Coffee, invest your money in something that you know will be used over and over again. i hate when people get money and just toss it down the drain on stupid stuff like clothes (which go out of fashion quickly).....mostly i'm talking about girls, so i think you're covered under the "don't toss my money down the drain" clause.
 
lol, i hear ya. I'm too serious about film making to waste money on clothes and crap. I mean, who need clothes when they can walk around with camera equipment drapped across their body? duh
