What would we do without internet?

cool little "title"
It's addicting. It's our connection to each other. It's how I can get cool stuff
cheaper on Ebay. What would I do without internet? How did I exist?

Each day Kevin and I shoot off a dozen or so emails as we hammer out the
final touches to The Black Angel. We've discussed wardrobe with the actresses,
camera angles, location problems, lighting problems -- through the
internet I can co-produce a short! Unbelievable. Kevin is in Iowa
and I'm in California. I've never even met the guy!

Kevin has my VidLEDS which will make their debut on this short. As he and
I share the cost of this production, I've actually bought stuff online and had
it shipped to him.

God that is so freakin' cool! I could never do this short without the internet.
Geez, what was I doing before?

I think I threw rocks in the lake.

I lost internet, once, when my roommates didn't pay the bill.

It was very depressing. But, I beat a lot of video games.

I don't know... I am online all day, almost every day... without the web... communication for me would be phone, and I'd be on that all day every day.

Does anyone remember when you had to actually watch TV to get the days news?
Or when you had to read the paper to get yesterdays news?

or when a CD burner cost more than $1000?

or how about offline editing on 2 x UMATIC machines?
Yea, and with those 1000$ burners the disks cost over 13$ each.

When mine goes down I get very aggravated, call my ISP (which apparently no longer has employees after 7pm or so) , then give in and go to bed where I get some needed sleep. Without the internet though I would probably get more stuff done, not research it to death.

well..... the internet can kiss my ass! Skrew the phucken internet!!!!!!

that reminds me, I got to check my myspace! :)
