i just got my new dvx100b and would like to know if any of you guys have recommendations on the best settings regarding the dvx100 camera menu, would work best for a 24p music video/ film.

best combinations of scene file and shutter speeds..... before taking it to final cut pro for color correction

i would appreciate any suggestions, thanks in advance.

Hey Santacrux, I would recommend shooting everything as "zeroed" as possible, so that you go into post with the most color information possible. Obviously 4:3, letterboxed, or squeezed is up to you, I used to tape the LCD, and shoot 4:3, and then they would mask in post. As for actual settings, I would recommend turning the detail up a little, and shooting 24p 1/48th shutter for typical content. Take your shutter up to 1/120th or 1/250th for high action or intense sequences to get a more flashy, quick feel. (saving private ryan, fight club, etc)

Happy shooting!
