I've been happy with my bogen 501.
What tripod should I get?

Hey marlon the Bogen 501 is a nice little unit. In fact the NBC affiliate in our area and I were covering an event here, and he was using a 501 with his hvx200.
They're shooting just 480/60i DVCPRO 4:3 onto P2 cards and that 501 was doing just great for him for his eng coverage.
I would still take my focus setup for the pan/tilt moves we do in 24pn, but still that 501 is a nice little unit, especially if your getting good results.
I know some people would freak if they found out I was using my AT897 for voice over work on some clients. But there are no rules only a fabulous end product.

so any new opinions for a head/tripod considering that you once will ove up from the HVX to the HPX?
