What tripod do I need for a video fluid head?

So I just got this video fluid head:

I went to put it on this tripod:

... and it didn't fit. The screw out of that tripod wasn't the same size as the input for the fluid head.

So, I figured I just needed a video tripod, right? Problem is, all the places I've been to the video tripods cost $150-$200 at the very least. That's fine and all, but I don't want to spring that much when I already invested $120 in the fluid head.

So is there a commercially available video tripod on the cheap that will fit that fluid head? Or can you buy a video tripod with just the sticks and not the video head?

I don't want to burst your bubble, but even decent video tripods are outside your budget. Try looking for the heaviest photo tripod within your budget. Look at BH or adorama, at least if you don't like it, you can return it no problem.

Why haven't you got the whole Weifeng 717 tripod and just got the head? It is a good knock off tripod that I remember didn't cost too much with respect to what you paid for the head (which is much for this pan head in my opinion). I don't know if it is still available though.
