what Trew website says re Lectrosonics

On the Trew site, it says that the 400 series has come down in price to match the 200 series due to manufacturing efficiencies. But maybe that's old pricing for the 200 series, and they're even less now?? (Page I looked at says you have to call for current pricing.)

Here's the deal:

The 211's went up in price, and the 411's came down. They are now the same price. Basically, they met in the middle. Lectro is going to eventually discontinue the 211's. If you are looking to buy wireless, get the 411's. There is no reason to spend the same money on 211's when they will be discontinued, and can't do as much as the 411's.

Yup. Also, I called and Trew is in the same ballpark as B&H. A little more $$, but B&H always seems to be out of stock.

they should be the same money. I know gotham sound in NY has a lot of stock right now.

This is very true. When it comes to wireless, it's great if you can find a good local dealer that stocks the stuff, because they are more likely to have the frequency blocks you need.

You know if you're ever in the area, they'll give you a factory tour... Need to do that someday as they're only like four hours away from here..

I got a email from Trew about it a day ago... Can't wait to see it next week at the show.
Seems a tad more expensive than the UM400 and three times the price of the LM,
but it looks very promising. Actually like something made in this century, not the old
military/unusable look and feel that my current Lectro's have. : thumbs up :

I sold two of my three systems to buy into DigitalHybrid and now may be the time with SM.
