What to use for electrical cabling connectors?

Hey All
I'm in the process of building some DIY-Kinos, and rather than just have a long piece of cabling hang out of them at all times I'd like to be able to just have a 3 pronged (+/-/g) female port on the back of my fixture, with an appropriate male adapter on one end of a cable and just a normal 3 prong power outled plug on the opposite end.

Getting a cable with a normal grouded outlet on one side is not a problem - I'm having trouble finding a suitable "Port/plug" system to use on the fixture. Any suggestions?

THanks

Im not sure I understand what your looking for, but what I use for my kino flo's is something like

I attach it to the actual kino with the fixture array plugged into it. I then run an extension cord which powers my 8 bank flo.

You can find this at any walmart or hardware store.

Here's a female IEC Edison connector:

IEC Edison female [available at any electronics supply store]

But, you probably want to wire your light using the male IEC Edison connector shown below, so that you can use readily available, standard IEC Edison female-to-male cables that are commonly used on Lowel lighting instruments, PCs, monitors, power supplies, and just about everything else:

IEC Edison male [available at any electronics supply store]

IEC Edison cable [standard 6' AC power cable, available at Radio Shack, part no. 61-2859]

Yes, that is exactly waht I was looking for! When I walked into an electronics store and tried to explain to them my needs, they looked at me dumbfounded. Having the name of what I want will help a lot :)

Thanks
