What to look for

I'm new to finding cameras for filmmaking and the problem I face is that I don't really know how to tell the difference. Like with digital cameras you can tell by their pixel count and features but I don't know how to tell with filmmaking cameras. Anyone have any insight or some informational sites for me? I could use the help! Thanks!

To start, you'll want a camera with a headphone jack, microphone jack, and manual controls. Sometimes the manual controls are represented by buttons on the camera like Focus, Iris and Shutter Speed. Less expensive cameras may still have manual controls, but they will be found in the cameras on-screen menu.
