What to expect when shooting a web series?

Sorry if this is in the wrong section on the forum. Wasn't too sure on where was the correct place to post this.

But anyways i have a really good idea for a while of a web series id want to do. I have some experience in high school film class on making small films. Sadly i never had the chance to film the ideas i wanted to do. I was hoping to start making the web series happen soon but i want to know what to expect because I'm completely new to this. How would i go about planning/ organizing shots for a specific scene or day, how to get actors, how to write a script and finding or filming at places. I could go on and on about the stuff id like to get to know but if anyone has had any experience in this type of filming please inbox me or something so i can get prepared for what will happen during the time i start getting stuff moving.

Don't start with a big project like a series. Make some short films for fun. Read a lot.

Expect everything to cost more and take longer than you think. Even after you've learned that they cost more and take longer, it will continue to surprise you.

And to add to what wgtwo said, you can shoot your 1st webisode as a single, self contained project. Then move onto the next one. If you take them 1 at a time, it will be much more manageable than trying to lay plans & execute an entire group of films at once.
