Ok need some advice for this situation:
A client got their wedding video shot and edited by a company but was only given data DVD's and was not treated well there so they came to me to do some more editing (including some titles before and after all the raw footage and putting it all on a playable dvd) They wrote out all the names and each slide they wanted. This is all in spanish and although I know some spanish, most of it is above me. They were aware I did not speak spanish at the time.
Now the problem.
One of the words in the opening slide is spelled incorrectly. I have the sheet of paper from my client with all the slides laid out and everything she wanted to say, which she wrote out. The same word was also mispelled on the sheet she gave me, so I typed it exactly as I saw it.
I doubt they will want to pay me to fix it because to them it is a simple issue, but we all know that exporting 4 hours of HD footage and then compressing all of that so it fits on one DVD, and then burning multiple DVD's again is going to take up my time.
So, I ask you guys, how you would approach this. Is this something I need to bite the bullet on and claim it as my mistake. Or is this something that I explain to the client was nothing I should be held responsible for as she mispelled it when she gave it to me and explain that it is not just a simple fix?
