what to do with audio from a car scene?

I tried to search for a topic on this but it's next to impossible to find what you want when the forum won't let you use the word "car" in a search. Anyway, I just got back from a shoot that was almost entirely done inside a car. Now, first off, the audio isnt bad at all, we used a sennheiser 415 and the short was almost all closeups so we pretty much had the mic right in their faces the entire time. I just really want the audio on this to be AMAZING, so what do I need to do to get it there?

If the dialogue is clean and clear be careful you don't screw round with it till it becomes a wreck.

Without hearing anything at all, zilch .. and some car fx in back or not, don't compress the speech maybe roll out anything under 50hz .. try a narrow boost 3dB around 4Kh and a little 20:1 limiting to hold any peaks in check. Keep the overall level of the scene in balance with the rest of the movie .. and keep the original.

Cheers.
