Hey guys. I was wondering......I've been mainly in the audio end of things in my home studio. Totally controlled environment where a cardioid mic comes in great handy. Most of my mics, and my main mic (neumann tlm 103) are cardiod. As I've ventured off to the world of video these mics have pretty much been sitting. It just seems like it's either gotta be a shotgun or a hyper cardiod to be put to use. So my question is, what are some ways you guys have used a cardioid pattern mic? I can't watch my neumann sit any longer...lol.
