What to charge for a day of filming

I'm going to be shooting a pro wrestling event, and I am wondering on what everybody thinks is a good price. I will be filming from 12-4 and then 7-11 on one day. THey then want three one minute videos highlighting the matches from the day. I was thinking around $200, but I feel that's not enough. I don't think this organization has ever hired anyone to professionally film and edit their productions, so I don't believe they know what to expect price wise. Any advice?

I would at least charge 250 for a half day (4 hours) and $500 for a full day (8 Hours)
If you want you can use a slightly lesser charge for editing but I wouldn't do anything less than that because it's really not worth the effort.
Also when shooting events if they tell you it's going to be 4 hours it will really be 6-7.

Sometimes I take jobs for 250 and 200 buck but that when i'm shooting like an hour and handing them the tapes. If I take it back to my computer at least 500 no matter what

ask them what their budget is. If it isn't enough, don't do it. If it is more than enough, you come out ahead. I think that you need to charge for a full day. I usually charge a minimum of $500-600. Whatever the time span, it is a full day. What else can you book on that day?
