What the XL1s Guys Say

Just browsed some Canon forums (or fora, as is actually correct), and they have the same "XL1 or DVX100?" posts we see here.

Their defense of the XL1 comes down, mostly, to "it looks cooler."

Re: What the XL1s Guys Say

One guy was saying that non-interlaced material never looks right on NTSC -- so he'd never want to shoot progressive.

No, it was not at all convincing . . .

Re: What the XL1s Guys Say

The XL1 is good if you need to make a Big Statement, while the DVX needs no statement at all.

Re: What the XL1s Guys Say

The XL1 is heavier and makes a good paper weight.
The DVX fools many people and the XL1 is purchased by many fools.

Re: What the XL1s Guys Say

I remember to this day when I came in here and asked Jarred if I should get an XL1s or a DVX100 and he told me to go fock myself. [glow=red,2,300]*[/glow]

I got the DVX100.

[glow=red,2,300]Once again, I have used poetic license in my description of what went down.[/glow]
