What the heck does this mean?

What causes this and what can I do to capture that footage?

..you likely had a timecode break somehwere.. if not then it means the software screwed up .. just capture without batch processing..if it stops due to timecode break you could just stop the capture and start again after the break

Less a TC break with HD... more likely were you trying to capture the first 10 seconds of the tape? Unless of course there was a HUGE TC break.

Thanks, I'm not sure what happened, but it appears like all my footage is there.

Very strange, it gave me heart failure for second, because I really needed the footage for a client.
