What specs for XDCAM

Hi, please can you tell me what system would be enough
for stable XDcam editing (not too much of effects very basic) on priemere cs4.
Some people say I need a very powerful machine (dual xeon 8 core) others
say a single i7 920 is enough.
HELP:badputer:
 
Single i7 is enough.

Most XDCAM EX is just MPEG2 4:2:0 @ 35Mb/s. The XDCAM HD 4:2:2 variants are 50Mb/s

If you want smart rendering, you need the to buy the mainconcept plugin separately which was updated yesterday to work properly
