Don't you mean Visual Effects? There is a difference. Special Effects are primarily done live and real, whereas Visual Effects are more computer based, if not entirely.

I agree - Video Copilot - almost everything. He's a copycat. ;-)

I think he was more inspired by some of the VFX in videocopilot

Actually if i remember correctly. He did the time freeze effect first. If you listen to Andrew Kramer the host on Video Copilot he mentions On the lot and how to recreate the effect. So i think Zack should get credit first.
