what software or plugin can remove flickering light.

Hi, did some interviews the other day inside an office building. Did not notice until later that there was a flickering in the lights in the background or maybe it was an issue with the florescent bulbs, but it was in both cameras being used. Did not effect the subject, but can notice it in the background. It is not bad and I can try and crop it out, but does anyone know of a plugin or software to remove that from your footage?
 
I have had some luck in a similar situation using the Color Stabilizer plugin that comes with After Effects. BTW, the flicker is almost always caused by florescent bulbs - they really do not give continuous light, but actually turn on/off rapidly based on the frequency of the alternating current that runs them.

Great, I have after effects and will try it. I guess I never thought of that. I also had a camera I left on auto and would shift lighting modes and will try it there too.
 
The proper shutter speed when recording is usually preferable. I'd like to see what Boris Flicker Fixer can do though.
