What size Pelican case?

I need to assemble a small interview travel kit consisting of:

(2) Arri 150 watt fresnels w/doors
(2) Arri 300 watt fresnels w/doors

I have the fixtures but no Arri case. I don't want to spend $600 for a big, bloated Arri case whose wheels get destroyed by baggage handlers and don't think I really need it.

Certainly, there is a Pelican case (or other brand) that will allow me to safely transport the above fixtures with a few accessories through airports.

I can pack light stands in a suitcase, if need be, so that isn't an issue.

Speaking of, can anyone recommend some small-footprint collapsible light stands? Currently, I have a few small Lowell stands that would be good for this package. I might get a few more unless I hear of something better.

Thanks!

I'll sometimes throw a few Arri juniors in my Peli 1620, but it weighs 9kg and isn't as effective as my dedicated lighting cases. I'd recommend you look at Petrol, Kata and Tenba lighting cases.

Mathews make a reverse folding lighting stand that will hold an Arri Junior no problem.

one very big consideration for flying is single bag weight. last time i few a good bit of kit (about 18 months ago) i'd put together this one pelican case that held a full turnkey light kit. turns out it was heavy enough that it was going to coast $400 extra to fly it. so in effect, it would have been less than half of that if id broken it into two smaller cases.

Thanks for the input, Liam and wgzn. I finally decided to go with the original Arri case with wheels designed for my lights even though I'm not totally crazy about it. I suppose it's a good compromise.
