Hey guys... I tried a few searches and didn't come up with anything really pertaining to this question...
I'm just looking to get a good case for my new HVX... I know what brands are well respected here, but I'd like some guidance on what dimensions I should be looking at. I'd rather stay at about $100, instead of going into $130-$150 range if I don't have to.
I see that the Zaguto.com custom foam insert fits a 25x20x8.5 (rounded)... do I really need a case that big, or can I size down a bit?
I really only need to hold the HVX, 3-4 batteries, 2-3 dv tapes, 2 P2 cards, and maybe the baterry charger. Maybe a telephoto and/or Wide Angle lens in the future. Don't think I'll be springing for a 35mm adapter anytime too soon. Fitting a boom mic would be nice too.
