What should I export as?

Using a PC and Pro 5.5...what file should I export as? Seems a wmv is a smaller file than H264. What is best quality and what is best for youtube? Is there a way to export to youtube?
 
Use H.264. Pretty much the best for youtube and Vimeo. WMV. Not so good.

Export.
Media.
And use Adobe media Encoder preset for Youtube.
Done.
 
Are you ultimately just using it for Youtube?

I would export a native Quicktime file. This way you have a file that you can conform to whatever you need for whichever platform you desire.

For Youtube, there are great presets already in Adobe Media Encoder. It's going to be in H.264
