What should I do?

Hey guys, I've come to a dilemma. I have the opportunity to sell my Panasonic PVGS120 with wide angle lens, telephoto lens, UV filter, polarizer filter, extra battery, case and tripod-all in box for $800. Now, I can't seem to decide whether or not to sell it, purely for the reason that there are so many pros and so many cons. Maybe you guys can be of some assistance.

PROS:

*if budgeted well and looking for just an upgrade*

-i can buy a RODE mic
-a small lighting kit (consisting of work lights...hey something's better than nothing in this case right?)
-a decent tripod with fluid head

CONS:

-i lose a capture device
-i lose a second camera for possible static shots
-i lose B roll footage
-also, i lose the portability of this smaller camera

As you can see they are pretty close together, but maybe that's just me. Hopefully you guys can help me decide what the best choice is. I know ultimatley it's up to me, but a few opinions wouldn't hurt.

Thanks,

-Kegan

EDIT: The camera has seen some considerable use and I've had it from brand new since Christmas 04'

It doesn't sound like you have a compelling reason to sell it yet. If your "pros" were compelling enough to you, you wouldn't be asking for advice. If you have no other capture camera (deck), I'd hold off instead of using the DVX as a deck.

But then, it might be that I have mics and lights...

Thanks guys, good words of advice. The price of the deck would outweigh the mics, lights and tripod so looks like I'll stick with the camera and probably use the cash from my upcoming prom video on it.
