hey guys, i just received an offer from a friend of mine who works at a KGuard gutters office here where i live. He is asking me if i would be interested in making a DVD for them that would basically be shown at Expos and potential customers. I have never done this before for money so i have NO idea what to say it will cost. to give you some more info the project would be between 5-10minutes and would take around 3-4 weeks to complete from beginning to end. I have all of my own equipment (camera, lighting, sound editing) so i wouldnt need to rent anything. what is a fair price to charge? (also consider this is an old friend) thanks for any help!

15 an hour + materials considering its a friend and its your first time

Or another way to go is $1000 per finished min. I find for basic stuff with very
little animation this is a good base. One good analogy to think about is having a video made is like buying a car they all have 4 wheels an engine etc. what cost is the extras. So what kind of video do they want a VW or Ferari.
Or do they want it good, fast, cheap pick any two.
