what should i buy? 4 video shoot?

Hey guys I'm planning on shooting a music video for my cousin, in January In NYC in a top level of a parking Garage ,all I have is the camera no other accessories. My budget is $1500-2000.

Any recommendations on what i should buy as far Tripods, dolly, or lenses, filters, lights? any recommendations would really help me out guys? I know 2g's is not much to work with but we're trying!

Hey - with that kinda budget - get all you can - remember you can always hire - if you plan well.
I'd say tripod first then light kit & just hire or a make a home made dolly - used wheelchairs are pretty handy.
If you can squeeze a wide angle lens in there - that would add a bit more depth but again - you could always hire that first & figure if its something you would use alot more.

I think its best to hire for a day's shoot & try before you buy  ;)
You'll pretty much know straight away what you need to buy.

thanks man, I know a tripod is a must i read a few post on the boegen fulid heads, Unfortuanatly i dont know wich light kit i should get but i'll do some research. Wheel chair? **** i never thought of that, thats a great idea. How do you keep the camera still do you use a tripod on top of the wheel chair or do you ride the wheel chair while operating the camera being very still?

You sit in it and cradle it in your arms as still as possible. As long as your shot is wide, it should be okay.

I am in NYC; maybe you could use some of my equipment including my DVX100A for FREE!!! ;)

I must be crazy.... but I sure like to cooperate with others.
