Hey everyone, I would consider myself a newbie in the industry as far as producing.
I just landed my first job producing a sports show for a PBS affiliate. The deal is an
8 episode series shown every 2 weeks for 5 months. Basically he wants a one man production team.
Shooting, editing, managing contacts making appointments.
I have a whole TV station and select few students at my disposal. Basic foundation of the show
consist of highlights of games and player, staff, faculty interviews. I have an 8,000 dollar budget.
The pay for me is 12,000 five month contract. Is it a deal for someone without a finishing college or is it a slave contract.
