kind of an odd question, in order to simplify i'm trying to get my gear so that it all uses the same plate.
i have the 503 head on my main tripod and i realize that for most of what i do i setup the camera and lock it down for that scene and don't move it until the next setup/scene.
having one plate on the camera would be tremendously handy because in addition to my 525mv tripod i also mount it on a car mount, two different dollys and soon the bogen hi-hat.
i don't need the full features of the 503 or even the 501. primarily i have been using a mixed collection of bogens that use the hexagon shaped plates but its a pain to stop and swap them out.
so what other models besides the 503/501 take the exact same plate?
