What NOT to Do in a Movie Trailer

lol. . . they cant be that stupid. . . right? I mean. . . like. . . what if this is just a trick and the "twist" is fake and there will be a even better/bigger twist. . . cuz this just cant be. . . omg.

Like what if that younger guy is the bad guy and richard is blamed cuz he found out but nobody believes him . . . though for that, they younger guy is. . . well too young ^^ damn. . . there must be something to it, even though ALL sign point to "richard" being the bad guy :/.

Even before they revealed he was the guy, I knew he a) was the badguy or b) they're trying to make you think he is. Like in SALT. But we saw how that worked out.

The fact is that that trailer just wouldn't be that interesting without the twist. Hopefully there is more to the movie that just that twist, but a more interesting trailer is always better than a less interesting one.

I'm going to venture that the government was using the badguy all along, so the badguy is actually the good guy, or something like that.

Personally, I thought it was far worse to have a character named "Geary" opposite Richard Gere than it was to give away the obvious key plot point, anyway.

"Go back to the car and shut up Forman!" thats what i heard........
but yeah, Movie Trailer Fail

Should you really be touting having the writers from Taken (a well-loved graphic novel) and 3:10 to Yuma (a remake)?
